Super Eagles of Nigeria will be playing with Cameroon in the round sixteen of the Africa Nations Cup on going in Ivory Coast.
Nigeria came second in the group stage qualifying the National team for the next round of the football Competition.
A viral news posited that the President of Nigeria His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu said that he is not impressed yet with the performance of Super Eagle in the Football tournament.
In a request made by Ahmed Musa for the president to come and watch the match live, the Minister of Sports said that the president will come when it gets to the stage he will come.
Perhaps the President is aware that the performance of Nigeria in round sixteen determines the success in the knock off stage and if Nigeria qualifies to reach the final stage, the president may be willing to come.
The match between Nigeria and Cameroon will hold on Saturday 27th January 2024 by 9:00 pm WAT
There is anxiety on the side of supporters or fans of the two countries in the on going competition. Any side that loses the match is out of the competition to lift the trophy as Africa Champions.
