FG Declares Public Holiday, Tinubu Arrives Lagos to Observe Eid Al- Fitr

The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Minister of interior Honourable Olubumni Tunji Ojo has declared Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th April 2024 as public holidays to celebrate the Eid ai – Fitr. It is a feast for Muslims and coincidentally coming after one week the Christian’s celebrated their own Feast of Easter / resurrection remembrance of Jesus Christ.

The President of Nigeria His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Sunday 7th April 2024 arrived his home State Lagos State where he was received by the Executive Governor of the State His Excellency Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the presidential wing of Muritala Muhammad Airport Ikeja.

The presidency revealed that president Tinubu will be celebrating the muslim feast in Lagos State during the holiday which marked his temporary departure from Aso Villa, Abuja to observe his faith and not out of Abuja on National assignment.
