Ahmed Musa Pleads for Peace in Plateau State

Super Eagle football player and Captain of the Nigerian National Football team Ahmed Musa in a tweet made a plea for peace in Plateau state.

In a viral news, some communities and Local Government Areas in Plateau State were attacked leading to lots of lives and properties.

The killings and insecurity in Plateau State seem to have not ended as Ahmed Musa made a tweet to sue for peace. In his tweet through his verified X social media account page, he called on the people to ask the leaders to focus on their primary duties which entails ensuring that everyone is safe.

While charging the leaders to take the responsibility of bringing back the peace once enjoyed in Plateau State, he equally told everyone to see each other as one big family in respective of the religious and tribal differences which ought to be a blessing that deserves to be celebrated.

His tweet on Thursday 25th January 2024 came at a time when he and his fellow team members in Super Eagles were representing Nigeria in the African Nations Cup 2024 holding in Ivory Coast with a victory of making it to round sixteen (16) of the tournament.

Ahmed called on Nigerians to stand side by side in joint prayer and efforts to proffer everlasting peace in Plateau State.
