The president of Nigeria His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday 11th March 2024 commisonned Minna airport renamed after him.
The international airport in Minna Niger state is now known as Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport Minna. The president of Nigeria was received by the Governor of the agricultural rich state with vast land suitable for agriculture. The ceremony started with a parade where the president and commander in chief of the Armed Forces climbed the podium and gave order for the parade commander to carry on with the parade.
Shortly, the president proceeded to the commissioning of the airport renamed after him.
It is the first international and domestic Airport that is named after him and to be called Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport Minna.
The president of Nigeria Bola Ahmed Tinubu also commisonned some agricultural projects in Niger State during the state visit.
Other people in attendance were the Minister of Agriculture, the Governor of Lagos State, Special Adviser to the president of Media and host of others
