INEC Declares Hope Uzodinma Winner of Imo State Governorship Election

Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Senator Hope Uzodinma the winner of the Imo State Governorship election held on 11th November 2023.

His Excellency Hope Uzodinma is the incumbent Governor of Imo State, South East Nigeria. He contested for his second tenure as the executive Governor of Imo State and returned elected following the declaration of INEC on Sunday 12th November 2023.

In the election, he was the flag bearer of the All Progressive Congress(APC) which is the ruling party in Nigeria and Imo State.

He won all the twenty seven Local Government Arears in Imo State and defeated his opponents from PDP, LP, APGA, and other parties.

His Excellency Sen. Hope Uzodinma of the All-progressive Congress (APC) got 570,019 of the total votes which reflected more than seventy per cent (70%) of votes cast in his favour.
