Mrs Abiola Oluwaseyi Babatunde -Ojo is a notable accountant with decades of career spanning in banking and Oil & Gas Sector. Before her appointment as the Managing Director of Prudent Energy & Services Limited, there are facts to know about her which formed a stepping stone to her journey in Corporate career uplift.
She studied Statistics at the University of Ibadan where she bagged a Bachelor’s degree with Second Class Upper in 2002.
In 2016, she got Masters degree in Corporate Governance and Management from Leads Beckett University.
Before she joined Prudent Energy, she worked in UBA Group where she played critical roles as a business development manager. She worked in the bank from December 2009 – September 2011.
In May 2012, she became Trade Finance Manager at Prudent Energy & Services Limited where she managed the company’s accounting team, boosted the positive image of the company, did a cost analysis of purchased products and many more. She served diligently in the job role till December 2014 when she was promoted to General Manager of Trade and Finance. It took effect in January 2015 when she was responsible for the financial management of the company, and provided key information necessary for management and board decision making.
Mrs Abiola Oluwaseyi Babatunde – Ojo is a certified associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria following the issued certificate in 2002 and her upgrade as Certified fellow of the Institute in 2016.
Her diligence and commitment in Prudent Energy earned her another promotion as Chief Commercial Officer in January 2018 where she was saddled with the onus of ensuring integrated commercial success, leadership in driving trading strategies.
Prudent Energy & Services Limited said she led a team that brought 200% growth and profitability in the company as an Executive Director and it demonstrated her prowess and credible leadership in her decades of journey in the Corporate world.
Towards the end of December 2023, Prudent Energy & Services Limited announced her appointment as the Managing Director of the company.
