The first lady of Nigeria Senator Oluremi Tinubu on Monday 27th May 2024 joined other Nigerians in celebrating Children’s Day in a big way.
During her speech, she called for compassion on children and, the need for proper guidance of children in the society in ways that helps children to attain good moral that impacts society positively.
Some Schools that participated actively during the Children’s Day celebration in Abuja carried out many entertaining programs. Some of the children that did stage performance wore their traditional attires and entertained the audience showing how they are mastering their traditional greetings, culture and positive influence observed in the society.
Other dignitaries present during the Children’s Day celebration in FCT Abuja include the second first lady and wife of the Nigerian Vice President Kashim Shettima. Mrs Shettima also spoke during the event and acknowledged the good works that First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu is doing for children, men and women.
The First Lady of Nigeria offered a donation of ten million naira each to participatory schools during the May 27th Children’s Day in Abuja.
It was her first Children’s Day function as the first lady of Nigeria, West Africa.
