Ramadan: Peter Obi Tours Northern Nigeria, Visits Emir of Kano

The former Governor of Anambra State and Labour Party (LP) Presidential Candidate Mr. Peter Obi initiated a move to go on tour in the Northern part of Nigeria during the Ramadan.

In the tour where he has been going from one state to another in the North he has increased the faith of his supporters who he promised that he won’t go away after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was declared the winner of February 2023 presidential election.

In one of his visits, he stopped by at ancient city of Kano, Kano State where he paid a visit to the Emir of Kano His Royal Majesty (HRM) Alhaji Dr Aminu Ado Bayero. In the visit he made reference to education as a pathway for enlightenment. He said that parents should look into sending their children to good Private universities like Skyline University, Base University and others instead of spending much money to send their children or wards to expensive schools Abroad when there are schools in Nigeria that offers quality education for Adults and children.

During the visit, he commissioned a borehole water project at Dandalin Fagge Local Government Area, Kano State which he donated for the people to have access to clean water.

Obi gave cash support to about hundred people that are in need of financial support and assistance. He equally donated food to the Muslims as a way of joining them to participate actively during the Ramadan.
