Access Bank Plc on Thursday 21st March 2024 disclosed that the bank has acquired National Bank of Kenya Ltd.
Access Bank Plc under the parent company Access Holdings has continued to make waves and grow big everyday from a small bank founded by two young bankers many years ago to one of the biggest bank in Nigeria.
The acquisition of a bank in Kenya has strengthened Access Bank Plc presence in Kenya.
National Bank of Kenya Ltd before the acquisition was a subsidiary of KCB Group and Access Bank has achieved a big milestone in the succesful acquisition.
Access Bank Plc disclosed further that the acquisition of National Bank of Kenya Ltd will increase financial and economic growth across all borders especially boosting Nigeria – Kenya Business collaboration.
The big news is coming at a time the former CEO of Access Bank returned back to the bank as Non Executive Chairman of the bank few days after the succesful burial of Dr Herbert Wigwe the GCEO of Access Holdings untill his death in California United States of America.
