An X user identified as Malachy Odo 1 made a tweet that his cousin Zikora, who lives in Australia, wrote to the Australian Prime Minister to make a complaint and got a reply.
Zikora Ike in the message addressed to the Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, disclosed her age as a seven-year-old child and titled the message “Seat belts on public transport”. She requested that the Prime Minister make public transport have seat belts for safety, especially in case of an accident.
” My name is Zikora Ike i live in Adelaide i’m 7 yrs old. Can you make public transport have seat belts. Without seat belts’ it doesn’t feel safe and there could be a accident and we could all fall down and get a serious injury. Thank you for your time.” Zikora said.
Zikora, while ending the message, acknowledged PM Anthony Albanese to be a great Prime Minister.
In a reply letter to Zikora Ike by the Hon. Anthony Albanese MP, Australian Prime Minister, Zikora was called “master” showing he is a seven year old boy. PM expressed his gratitude to Zikora for writing to him and his joy in hearing the stories and experiences of Australians irrespective of where the person lives or where the person is from. He went on to inspire Zikora about the need to work hard and how Australia is a country dreams and hardwork can take someone far in life making references to his path to becoming Prime Minister.
He went further to say that young people like Zikora are the thinkers and innovators of the future, praised him for striving to make a positive difference every day and expressed his solidarity in building a better Australia with him.
In the reply letter, the Prime Minister did not talk about the seat belt request from Zikora but showed his gratitude in how a seven-year-old child sent a message to him to discuss his experience and suggestion request on what to do.
