WhatsApp which is a product of Meta has announced the rollout of WhatsApp channels globally. It was first tested in India and Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg just recently announced that the channels will be a global outreach.
The feature added to WhatsApp will enable the product users to see certain things associations and organizations they follow share on WhatsApp space. It will enable fast dissemination of information and updates people would like to see directly from WhatsApp without leaving to find such elsewhere.
According to Mark Zuckerberg, thousands of channels have been created and added for people to follow. It is a private way to get updates from people and organizations people follow.
