TotalEnergies Marketing Nigeria Plc has announced the opening of applications for its 2025 Young Graduate Program, an initiative aimed at grooming young Nigerian professionals through structured exposure to the corporate world and international best practices.
The program, which will run from the company’s Lagos-Eko1 Tower office, is designed for recent university graduates with less than three years of professional experience in the fields of finance, strategy, economics, and business. According to the company, the Young Graduate Program offers successful candidates a rare opportunity to combine on-the-job training in Nigeria with an international work placement in one of TotalEnergies’ affiliates across Africa or at its global headquarters in Paris.
The program is structured into two key phases over an 18-month period. The first six months will be spent in Nigeria, where participants will be fully immersed in the company’s operations, working with experienced professionals and gaining a deep understanding of its processes. Subject to strong performance and the availability of positions, participants will then embark on a 12-month expatriation assignment to another affiliate of TotalEnergies.
TotalEnergies explained that this exposure is aimed at equipping young graduates with technical and managerial skills, global perspectives, and a network that will help them build a sustainable career in the energy and business sectors.
Key Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities
Young graduates admitted into the program will contribute to daily operations, support strategic projects, and engage with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The experience is designed to build confidence, encourage problem-solving, and prepare participants for more demanding roles in the future.
Eligibility Requirements
The company stated that applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Be a Nigerian citizen and have resided in Nigeria for at least six months prior to applying.
- Be under 26 years of age at the time of application.
- Have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- Have less than one year of professional experience.
A Commitment to Equal Opportunity
TotalEnergies reiterated its commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity, noting that the program is open to persons with disabilities. The company said it places a premium on creating an environment where all employees can grow, irrespective of their background.
Speaking on the launch of the program, the company highlighted its focus on developing the next generation of leaders.
“We believe that investing in young people is critical to building a strong and sustainable future for the energy industry and for Nigeria. This program is designed to nurture talent, foster innovation, and broaden horizons,” the company said.
Applications for the 2025 Young Graduate Program are currently open on the company’s official career portal.
