Mr. Ayogu Agbo, chairman of Igbo-Eze North Youths Assembly, has expressed concerns about the neglect of Igbo-Eze North residents by their government representatives across various tiers. In his address to the Igbo-Eze Youth Assembly media team, Agbo emphasized that it is the people’s responsibility to hold government officials accountable.
This call to action comes after Igbo-Eze North has faced challenges, including insecurity and underdevelopment. The area has struggled with criminal activities, which have hindered economic growth and posed threats to residents’ safety.
In response to these issues, the local government has initiated efforts to address insecurity and promote development. The Executive Chairman of Igbo-Eze North Local Government, Hon. Engr. Ogalla, has established a Committee on Youth Welfare and a Security Committee to tackle these challenges.
Agbo’s statement serves as a reminder that citizens have a crucial role in ensuring their representatives prioritize their needs and well-being.
