The Executive Governor of Abia State His Excellency Alex Otti has inaugurated and sworn in new seventeen Local Government Areas Transition Chairmen and deputies in Abia State.
The Governor during the ceremony on Thursday 30th November 2023 appreciated his political party ” Labour Party”, House of Assembly in the State and necessary stakeholders that performed critical roles in the appointment of the new transition Chairmen or Mayors to champion economic growth in Abia State at the grassroots level.
Governor Otti in his speech reminded the new mayors or Transition Chairmen that they have been called to serve the good people of Abia State and not to be served.
He highlighted the infrastructural projects carried out by his government and still maintained that his administration remains committed to securing lives and properties in Abia State. The Governor said there is an existing move for amalgamation of critical stakeholders to champion peace and quality security in the State.
