Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, has signed a landmark agreement with Austrian firm, Wande Nexus, worth $100 million. The deal, formalized at the Government House, aims to revolutionize the state’s water infrastructure by providing last-mile water connection to homes and offices in Enugu city.
The Austrian Ambassador to Nigeria, Thomas Schlesinger, expressed his government’s support for the project, emphasizing the importance of reliable access to clean and safe water. Governor Mbah thanked Ambassador Schlesinger for his commitment, stating, “Together, we are building a more prosperous and sustainable future for Enugu.”
The $100 million investment is expected to significantly improve the lives of Enugu residents, providing them with a reliable source of clean water. This development is a testament to Governor Mbah’s vision for Enugu’s future and his efforts to attract foreign investment to the state.
