Arise News TV presenter Oseni Rufai recently tweeted that Chicago State University has refused to authenticate the certificate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) during the 2023 General election in Nigeria.
The Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) Waziri Atiku Abubakar alleged that Bola Tinubu submitted a forged and fake certificate to INEC and that the certificate he parades was not issued by Chicago State University.
He took the case to a court in the United States through his Lawyers and used a subpoena to summon Chicago State University to tell the court about the authenticity of the degree certificate that the incumbent Nigeria President Bola Ahmed Tinubu said he got from the University upon completion of his studies.
In other news, Bola Tinubu seems to now have a classmate as someone appeared on national TV and attested to be his classmate at the University but is afraid that Tinubu may no longer recognize him.
Recall that Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) dismissed the case filed by PDP, LP and APM challenging the qualification of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the concluded election held on 25th February 2023.
The former Vice President of Nigeria and PDP Presidential Candidate Atiku Abubakar during a broadcast made it known that he would be appealing the judgement delivered by the Tribunal. Labour Party Presidential candidate Mr Peter Obi also said he would be appealing the judgment at the apex court.

The representative and lawyers of the Nigerian President are also following up on the suit filed by Waziri Atiku Abubakar pertaining to the degree certificate of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and praying for the case to be dismissed on certain grounds they highlighted.
