Controversial social media influencer, Bobrisky, has been released on bail after being embroiled in a bribery scandal involving officials of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS). Bobrisky, whose real name is Idris Okuneye, was accused of paying N15 million to NCS officers to facilitate a comfortable prison arrangement.
The allegations surfaced in a viral audio recording by Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan. However, Bobrisky has vehemently denied the claims, challenging VeryDarkMan to provide evidence to support his allegations.

The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has also ordered a probe into the allegations, emphasizing the government’s zero-tolerance stance on corruption.
