Appeal Court Affirms Ireti Kingibe Senate Election Victory

Federal Court of Appeal has delivered judgment on the election petition cases challenging the victory of Senator Ireti Kingibe as the duly elected senator representing Federal Capital Territory, Abuja at the Senate floor of the National Assembly.

Senator Ireti contested the February 25th Senatorial election under the platform of Labour Party (LP) and won the election in a monumental victory that defeated the candidate of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) who had occupied the Senate seat for many years.

Senator Ireti Kingibe in reacting to the judgement of the appeal court which affirmed her victory in the election appreciated her legal team for their good job which brought positive affirmation of her victory in the 25th February 2023 Senatorial election. The judgment of the appeal court has brought the legal battle to a conclusion and for her it is time to concentrate and deliver on her campaign promises.
