The Election Petition Tribunal Sitting in Enugu, Enugu State has declared Hon. Solomon Izuchukwu Onah the winner of Udenu House of Assembly Election.
The former Commissioner of Land and incumbent Chairman of Udenu Local Government Area contested the March 18th House of Assembly Election to represent the good people of Udenu at the State House of Assembly but lost to Hon. Obinna Ijere as declared by INEC.
Hon. Solomon Onah popularly known as Jack Solo filed an appeal to challenge the declaration of INEC in the election and on Saturday 30th September 2023, tribunal delivered judgement and sacked Hon. Obinna Ijere.
Supporters of Jack Solo welcomed the judgment with jubilation and happiness as the Mayor of Udenu LGA prepares to join others as a lawmaker at the Enugu State House of Assembly.
