Tinubu’s Betrayal Leaves Asari Dokubo ‘Dokubo-mented

Former Niger Delta militant leader Asari Dokubo has vowed to form an alliance with the Northern region and abandon President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections. Dokubo accused Tinubu of betrayal after working tirelessly for his emergence as president in 2023. He claimed to have spent his personal funds campaigning for Tinubu, only to be “betrayed.”

In a viral video, Dokubo apologized to his followers for initially opposing an alliance with the North. He stated, “We will take this message across that only Northerners can work with the Ijaw people. We can’t work with Yoruba people; they are a betrayal to us.”

This development comes after the Nigerian military challenged Dokubo to demonstrate his capabilities on the battlefield.
